Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Adam Vacations' services, including all 12 Jyotirlinga Yatra packages, flight bookings, hotel arrangements, transfers, and related services provided by Adam Vacations, an IATA accredited online travel company based in New Delhi, India.

By submitting an enquiry, making a booking, or using our services in any form, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India.

Our Commitment: Every term here exists to protect both you and us — ensuring your yatra journey is planned, delivered, and resolved with complete transparency and fairness.

Our Services

Adam Vacations provides the following services in connection with the 12 Jyotirlinga Yatra:

  • Flight Bookings: Domestic and international airline ticket issuance as an IATA accredited agency
  • Hotel Reservations: Verified accommodation bookings at Budget, 3-Star, and 4/5-Star hotels near Jyotirlinga temples
  • Local Transfers: Airport/station pickups and drops, intercity road transfers, local sightseeing in private AC vehicles
  • Temple Darshan Coordination: VIP darshan pass arrangement, queue management, and darshan timing coordination
  • Local Guide & Escort Services: Verified, experienced local guides at each Jyotirlinga destination
  • Puja Arrangements: Rudrabhishek, Kaal Sarp Dosh puja, private abhishek, and other rituals through authorized temple priests
  • NRI Family Packages: Fully supervised yatra packages with daily WhatsApp updates for overseas families
  • Senior Citizen Packages: Specialized services including wheelchair assistance, ground-floor hotel rooms, and dedicated care

Booking & Payment
3.1 Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when: (a) you have approved the detailed itinerary and price quote provided by us in writing, and (b) the advance payment of 30% of the total package cost has been received and cleared.

Verbal confirmations do not constitute a binding booking. All bookings must be confirmed in writing via WhatsApp, email, or our enquiry form.

3.3 Pricing

All prices are customized per package and are valid for 48 hours from the date of quotation, after which they may change due to airline and hotel rate fluctuations. We do not publish fixed prices on our website as costs vary significantly based on departure city, travel dates, group size, hotel category, and season.

The quoted price is inclusive of all components specified in your itinerary document. Any changes requested after booking confirmation may attract additional charges.

Price Guarantee: Once you confirm and pay the advance, the total package price is locked in — we will not charge additional amounts unless you request additional services or changes.

3.4 Accepted Payment Methods

India Customers: UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), NEFT/RTGS/IMPS bank transfer, Credit/Debit card (1.8% processing fee).

NRI / International Customers: SWIFT international wire transfer, Wise/TransferWise, PayPal (3.5% fee), international card via secure link (2.5% fee).

Traveller Responsibilities

As a customer of Adam Vacations and as a pilgrim undertaking the sacred 12 Jyotirlinga Yatra, you are responsible for:

  • Accurate Information: Providing accurate personal details (name as per ID, date of birth, ID numbers). Errors caused by incorrect information provided by you may result in ticket reissuance fees.
  • Valid Documents: Carrying valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhar, Passport, Voter ID) at all times during the trip. Some temples require original ID for darshan entry.
  • Kedarnath Registration: For Kedarnath, a yatra registration is required from the Uttarakhand Tourism portal. We facilitate this on your behalf, but you must provide accurate details.
  • Medical Fitness: Informing us of any medical conditions (heart disease, respiratory conditions, diabetes, mobility issues) that may affect your ability to complete the yatra safely. This information is kept strictly confidential and used only to plan safe arrangements for you.
  • Temple Etiquette: Following all temple rules, dress codes, and customs at each Jyotirlinga. Entry may be denied by temple authorities for non-compliance — this is outside our control.
  • Timely Communication: Responding to our communications within 24 hours when confirmation or information is required to proceed with bookings.
  • Travel Insurance: Obtaining adequate travel insurance covering medical evacuation, trip cancellation, and baggage loss. We strongly recommend this — particularly for Kedarnath and high-altitude temples.

Our Responsibilities & Limitations
5.1 What We Are Responsible For
  • Accurate and timely booking of all services as described in your confirmed itinerary
  • Providing a qualified local guide at each destination
  • Arranging VIP darshan passes in advance where available
  • 24/7 operational support during your trip via WhatsApp
  • Prompt resolution of service failures within our control
  • Transparent communication of any changes to your itinerary as soon as they arise
5.2 What We Are NOT Responsible For
  • Airline Delays/Cancellations: Flight disruptions are the responsibility of the airline. We assist with rebooking but cannot be held liable for airline-caused delays.
  • Temple Closures: Unannounced temple closures for religious, maintenance, or security reasons are beyond our control.
  • Weather Events: Weather-related disruptions (Kedarnath helicopter cancellations, road blocks due to landslides) are force majeure events.
  • Government Restrictions: Any restrictions imposed by government authorities that affect travel or temple access.
  • Personal Belongings: Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the trip.
  • Medical Incidents: We take every precaution and provide support, but we are not a medical service and cannot guarantee health outcomes.
  • Third-Party Services: Specific quality issues with airline services, hotels (beyond what was contracted), or temple management beyond our control.

Important: Our maximum liability in any claim shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific service component that failed. This limitation does not apply to personal injury caused by our direct negligence.

Changes & Itinerary Modifications

Changes by You: Any changes to your confirmed itinerary (dates, hotels, destinations, number of travellers) must be requested in writing. Changes are subject to availability and may attract additional charges based on supplier penalties and rate differences. Changes within 7 days of travel are subject to higher cancellation and rebooking fees.

Changes by Us: In exceptional circumstances (supplier failure, natural events, force majeure), we may need to modify your itinerary. We will always inform you immediately and offer an equivalent alternative or full refund of the affected component. We will never reduce the quality of your experience without adequate compensation or alternative.

Substitutions: If a booked hotel is unavailable on arrival for reasons beyond our control, we will arrange an equivalent or better-rated hotel at no extra cost.

Special Conditions — Jyotirlinga Yatra
7.1 Kedarnath Yatra Conditions
  • Kedarnath temple is accessible only from May to October/November. Bookings outside this window will be redirected to the following season.
  • Helicopter services are subject to weather clearance. We always build a 1-day buffer in Kedarnath itineraries. If weather disrupts even with buffer, we process a full refund of the helicopter component.
  • Medical fitness certification may be required for helicopter booking — this is an operator requirement we must enforce.
  • We strongly recommend and may require travel insurance for Kedarnath packages.
7.2 Baidyanath Shravan Season

During the Shravan season (July–August), Baidyanath Dham sees 40–50 lakh+ pilgrims. Advance booking of minimum 2–3 months is required. VIP darshan is arranged by us but is subject to availability by the temple trust. Adam Vacations cannot guarantee specific darshan times during extreme peak periods like the opening of Shravan.

7.3 Temple Entry Rules

Entry to certain Jyotirlinga temples (Somnath, Kedarnath, Rameshwaram inner sanctum) may be restricted to Hindus. We arrange darshan for customers eligible for entry. If a customer is denied entry by a temple authority for reasons of belief or behaviour, this constitutes a temple authority decision — not a service failure by Adam Vacations — and no refund is applicable for that specific darshan component.

Intellectual Property & Use of Content

All content on the Adam Vacations website, including text, images, itineraries, package descriptions, and pricing structures, is the intellectual property of Adam Vacations. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

Customer reviews and testimonials shared with us may be used in our marketing materials with the customer's name and city. If you wish to withdraw consent for use of your review, please contact us at Booking@adamvacations.com.

Dispute Resolution

First Step — Direct Resolution: If you have any dispute or complaint, please contact us first at Booking@adamvacations.com or+91 70530 74322. We resolve the vast majority of issues directly and promptly.

Escalation: If a resolution is not reached within 14 business days, you may escalate to the Consumer Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India).

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
